Volunteer at The New Foundation

Your time is valuable to us, too. You can make a difference in a child's life by giving some of your precious time. The New Foundation depends on the love and commitment of community volunteers to build our organization. We are not in this alone. It takes many people to build a community based on love, trust, and understanding.

Join us for a Volunteer Information Session. Sessions are scheduled on the first Wednesday of every month from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Oportunities include:

  • Tutoring
  • “Beautification” Projects
  • Special Interest Sharing
  • Coordination of “Drives”
  • Special Event Assistance
  • Event Chaperones
To Volunteer at The New Foundation you need a Fingerprint Clearance Card, Completed Application and Complete Volunteer Orientation. Please contact Stephanie at skegleyscott@thenewfoundation.org or 480.954.3302 ext 121 for more information or to attend a session.

Advisory Committee helps to develop long term donors by building relationships with members of the community that support the work of The New Foundation and our mission statement.

Community Relations Committee creates marketing plan to increase awareness in the community of The New Foundation and supports fundraising efforts with effective public relations.

Movers and Shakers, the golden rule of fundraising is that people give to people for people. Perhaps you know others that may want to help The New Foundation with a gift. Just spread the word and ask for their help. If you have networking meetings, a church group, friends or acquaintances nothing is better than just asking people for a donation for something worthwhile. You may be surprised how well this works and we can always use more good words on the street.

Guest Speakers engage children on campus giving them insight into their profession or talent, while inspiring them to think about their future careers.

Translators help families bridge the language barrier during treatment sessions.

The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteer leaders dedicated to making an impact in the lives of children by providing stable leadership and direction.

Grounds Maintenance, make it an afternoon of fun away from the office with your co-workers or a weekend project with your family or service group.
